Undercover cops abound... (7-30-2006)
This is one of the best places in the country for outdoor sex. On warm evenings in the fall especially, the place is packed with hundreds of horny men looking to get off. Great mix of ages and ethnicities. Some better lighted areas, where the younger guys tend to cruise, and others that are dark closer to the boat house where older folks seem to congregate - but there's lots of mixing. Have never struck out here after dark. (9-27-2004)
Police are around, so be careful. Some hot guys sunbathing and also hanging around the park benches. Bathrooms by the Boathouse and by 79 street are also cruisy. Lots of hot guys, lots of ethnicities. I had great sex with a hot Mexican young guy I met there recently. (9-4-2004)
